Russellville woman arrested on multiple drug charges

The Logan County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Russellville woman Friday after she allegedly left crystal methamphetamine at a doctor’s office.

According to a news release, deputies was notified by the doctor’s office that 41-year old Billie Coles of Russellville had allegedly left behind a clear plastic baggie that proved to be meth. Deputies located Coles at a residence at Ellis Road, where she reportedly admitted to dropping the meth at the office.

A search of the property more meth was found, along with prescription medication and drug paraphernalia. A set of digital scales was located outside, where Coles was located, and she reportedly admitted to trying to throw them away so deputies wouldn’t find them.

Coles was arrested and charged with possession of meth, tampering with physical evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia, three counts of possession of a controlled substance, prescription pills not in a proper container and promoting contraband.                                                                                                **
