Three hurt in wreck at Pembroke Road and Bypass

Three people were hurt in a four-vehicle wreck Saturday afternoon at Pembroke Road and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Bypass.

According to the Hopkinsville police report, the driver of an eastbound vehicle, 26-year old Byron Hutchins of Indiana, was travelling east on the Bypass when he allegedly disregarded a red light. He collided in the intersection with Pembroke Road with a vehicle operated by 25-year old Kathryn Ward of Hopkinsville. The collision caused those vehicles to strike two others.  No one was injured in those vehicles.

Ward and her passenger, 29-year old Heather Meek, were taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries. Hutchins was also transported for various injuries.

Everyone involved was wearing a seatbelt.                                                                **
