A woman was injured Wednesday morning in a hit and run collision near Hopkinsville High School.
The collision report from Hopkinsville Police says 27-year old Mark Jacob Strifler of Hopkinsville was headed north on Greenwood Drive about 9:45 a.m. when he ran the stop sign at Gateway Lane.
Strifler’s truck collided with a westbound car on Gateway driven by 61-year old Sharian Smith of Hopkinsville.
Smith said Strifler got out of his truck, told her there was no damage to either vehicle and handed her a business card before driving away. Strifler was located later in the day and cited into court for leaving the scene of an accident.
Smith was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
