HCC Roundtable magazine accepting submissions

Hopkinsville Community College is now accepting submissions to the Roundtable literary magazine until March 1.

According to a news release, work is accepted from participants Christian, Caldwell, Todd, Trigg, and Logan counties, Fort Campbell and Stewart, Montgomery and Robertson counties in Tennessee. Those with close ties to the Pennyroyal region who may not currently reside here are also encouraged to submit.

Those selected will read from their work at the annual literary awards ceremony held in HCC’s Round Table Literary Park at noon on Thursday, April 19. The winners of the Roundtable Literary Award and the Roger Selvidge Memorial Art Award will be presented at the ceremony.

It is preferred that submissions be filed electronically to Brett Ralph at brett.ralph@kctcs.edu and up to 10 pages of poetry, up to 30 pages of prose, or up to 10 individual pieces of visual art can be entered.

Each person submitting work should also include a note with a few sentences of biographical information for the contributor’s page, should the work be chosen for inclusion.                                                                                                 **
