Wallace leaving Bowling Green High for St. X

The Courier Journal reports Kevin Wallace will become the new head football coach at St. X. The 57 year old Wallace has coached at his alma mater Warren East and at Bowling Green High since 1994 when he began as an assistant and took over the program from Dan Haley in 1996.

Wallace has compiled a 299-102 record in 32 seasons at Bowling Green and Warren East and has led the Purples to five Class 5A titles and three runner up titles. Wallace replaces Will Wolford, who resigned in December after leading the Tigers to the Class 6-A championship game before losing to Trinity.
