University Heights led Bowling Green by as many as 25 in the second half and hung on to defeat the Purples 83-75 at the Hoopin’ on the Hill Classic. The Blazers-who hit 15 three point goals-were led by KyKy Tandy’s 28 points which included five threes, Taquan Hollowell added 19, Drew McGowan scored 18 points and KJ Crump had 16. University Heights improved to 14-6 and plays at Christian County in 8th district action Tuesday night.
