Updated: Man sought in Montgomery Co. home invasion

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a man thought to be involved in a home invasion Thursday morning.

It happened about 7:43 a.m. in the 5000 block of Louise Lane, according to a news release, which says shots were fired in the home and one person was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.

Montgomery County deputies are looking for 48-year old Bernard Ray Carver for questioning regarding the incident.

He was last seen driving a green 1993 GMC Sonoma extended cab pick-up truck pulling a small white single-axle enclosed trailer. The truck’s license plate number is 1D68B3.

Carver may be armed and is considered dangerous. Anyone knowing his whereabouts should call the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department at 931-552-1011.
