A Tennessee man was killed in a three-vehicle wreck on I-65 in Simpson County Thursday morning.
Traffic was stationary at the 2 mile-marker of the southbound lanes for another accident about 10:30 a.m., according to a news release from Kentucky State Police, which says 39-year old Jeremy Wells of White House, Tennessee failed to stop and his tractor-trailer rear-ended another semi operated by 50-year old Eric Chapman of Bethpage, Tennessee.
Chapman’s rig was pushed into another tractor-trailer driven by 62-year old William Allen of Brownsville.
Wells was pronounced dead at the scene by the Simpson County Coroner’s Office. Allen and Chapman declined medical treatment.
