An arrest has been made in connection with the armed robbery of the Lewisburg Bank in Adairville Thursday morning.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Department says 43-year old Eric Knuckles of Adairville was arrested without incident about 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the Deerfield Inn in Portland, Tennessee. An anonymous tip led to his capture and the Portland Police Department assisted.
Knuckles allegedly entered the bank just after 9 a.m. Thursday, brandished a handgun, handed a clerk a note demanding money and then fled in a stolen bank employee’s car.
