A robbery investigation is underway after a vehicle was stolen last night on Denzil Drive.
The 24-year old female victim told Hopkinsville Police that her boyfriend took her 2012 Chevy Malibu about 6:30 p.m. at 1600 South Denzil and then fled the scene. The police report says the suspect used physical force in an act of domestic violence to get the car.
Officers soon made contact with the suspect and car, but he abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot and was not caught.
The suspect, whose name is redacted on the report, is wanted for second-degree robbery and fleeing or evading police.
