Star defenseman P.K. Subban will be joined by goaltender Pekka Rinne and head coach Peter Laviolette to represent the Nashville Predators in this year’s NHL All-Star Game. Subban will serve as the team captain in his third All-Star appearance after receiving the most fan votes in the Central Division.
Rinne has enjoyed an effective campaign so far with a .925 save percentage this season, which earned the goalie his second All-Star Game appearance. Laviolette has guided the Preds to 25-11-and-6 record, good for second in the division. The All-Star Game is January 28th in Tampa, Florida.
The Predators are enjoying a few days off before returning to action next Tuesday night hosting the Vegas Golden Knights.
