At least 50 people are dead and more than 200 are injured following a mass shooting at an outdoor country music festival on the Las Vegas strip.
Police say shots were fired at concert-goers from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino while country singer Jason Aldean performed last night.
The sole gunman was later killed by police and is being identified as 64-year-old local resident Stephen Paddock. Police say they located a companion of the shooter named Marilou Danley who is being questioned in the investigation. Witnesses reported seeing muzzle flashes from upper floors of the hotel and the sound of automatic gun fire. This marks the deadliest mass shooting in the U.S.
