A section of the Pennyrile Parkway in Hopkinsville will be restricted to one lane on next week as the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet begins replacing a section of guardrail.
According to a news release, the southbound lane of the parkway will be restricted to one lane from about the 11-mile marker—south of the KY 1682 intersection, to the 10-mile marker—about a half mile north of the US 68 interchange.
Motorists should be alert for one lane traffic and some delays are possible during the movement and placement of equipment to facilitate the work.
Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
Work could last several days.
