A medical emergency led to a single-vehicle accident late Sunday night on Major Lane.
Hopkinsville police investigated and determined 48-year old Johnny Scott of Hopkinsville was westbound just before 11:30 p.m. when he had a medical emergency that caused him to pass out at the wheel and his vehicle went off the road and into a ditch.
Scott requested EMS and was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
