A medical condition likely contributed to a tractor-trailer accident Wednesday morning on Fort Campbell Boulevard that claimed the life of the driver.
The report from Hopkinsville police says 59-year old Terry Jensen of St. Charles, Illinois had been northbound near the flea market on 41A when his semi went off the right side of the roadway and struck a culvert.
Officer Adam Robertson pulled Jensen from the truck and performed CPR, but Jensen was pronounced dead at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
Review of the video from the cab of the truck shows Jensen may have had a medical issue that caused him to pass out prior to the semi wrecking.
