Former Kuttawa city clerk, husband extradited to Ky.

A former Kuttawa city clerk and her husband are now in jail in Kentucky for allegedly taking thousands of dollars in tax money.

Kentucky State Police began an investigation regarding irregularities at the Kuttawa City Clerk’s Office in July and it led to 40-year old Katie Harrison and 43-year old Clayton Harrison of Kuttawa being arrested in Tennessee.

On Sunday they were extradited and brought to the Caldwell County Jail. Katie Harrison is charged with 24 counts of second-degree forgery and Clayton with 10 counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second-degree.
