Motorcyclist injured in I-24 five vehicle crash

A motorcyclist was injured in a multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 24 Friday afternoon.

According to Christian County Sheriff’s Captain Chris Miller, the collision happened around 2 p.m. near the 90 mile marker when a motorcycle and a passenger car collided. The wreck caused the motorcycle to also strike with three other vehicles.

The motorcyclists was taken to Tennova Health Hospital for what are described as non-life threatening injuries. The names of those involved have not yet been released.

Staff with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet remained on scene to clean up the debris and some glass in the road near the 92 mile marker.
