Local woman facing meth, theft charges

The Hopkinsville Police Department arrested a Hopkinsville woman on strength of several warrants Sunday morning, and she’s now facing additional drug charges.

According to the police report, officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Greenville Road in reference to occupants being allegedly involved in multiple thefts in the city. After serving 37-year old Danielle Pepper of Hopkinsville with the warrants, a search was conducted on the vehicle. Pepper’s purse was located and inside were two bags.

One contained drug paraphernalia and the other reportedly held 12 syringes, six plastic baggies containing a clear crystal substance, a spoon and other drug paraphernalia. An Advil pill bottle was located that allegedly held methamphetamine and Gabapentin tablets.  There was also a plastic baggie that contained a red, rock-like substance.

Pepper was charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia. She was also served with warrants for felony theft, two for failure to appear and one for possession of meth, drug paraphernalia and marijuana.
