Warrant: Man held woman at gunpoint, buried explosives in yard

A Crofton man has been served with a warrant that says he assaulted a woman, held her at gunpoint, sent her hundreds of text messages and buried explosives in the yard of a home they were inside.

It alleges that during the period of June 21st through the 29th, 38-year old Larry Croft of Crofton slammed the female victim into a bathroom door frame and hit her in the face with his fist. He allegedly held her against her will at gunpoint, barricaded himself in the home with an AK 47 and allegedly buried explosives in the yard.

The report says he was going to her place of business every day and after being told to leave her alone multiple times. Croft reportedly sent the victim over 400 text messages over the period of three days.

He is charged with fourth-degree assault, wanton endangerment, stalking, unlawful imprisonment, terroristic threatening and harassing communications.
