First-round play begins this morning at the U.S. Open being played at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club in Southampton, New York. Brooks Koepka is the defending champ. Franklin’s Kenny Perry, the defending US Senior Open champion along with Louisville area native Justin Thomas and Nashville’s Brandt Snedeker are in the field.
