Two people were killed in a head-on collision Monday morning in Hopkins County.
It happened about 8:20 a.m. and a news release says 27-year old Aaron Utterback of Madisonville had been headed south on Nebo Road at a high rate of speed when his vehicle went off into a grassy area for unknown reasons.
It then reentered the road and struck a northbound automobile driven by 70-year old Mary Turner of Dixon.
Utterback and Turner were both pronounced dead at the scene.
