Injured teens remain in Nashville hospitals

Both local teens who were critically injured in Sunday morning’s fatal crash on Fort Campbell Boulevard remain in Nashville hospitals.

A spokesperson for Skyline Medical Center lists 15-year old Kaylee Lane in critical condition, while Vanderbilt University Medical Center lists 17-year old Darrius Burse in critical, but stable condition.

As previously reported, Hopkinsville Police determined Darrius Burse had been headed north on Fort Campbell Boulevard at a high rate of speed about midnight Sunday morning when his car struck a curb, went off the roadway, struck a pole and came to rest against the Save More Drugs sign.

Two passengers, 17-year old Jacory Burse and 16-year old Darius Majors, were pronounced dead at the scene.
