Preds sign goalie Svoboda

The Nashville Predators signed goaltender Miroslav Svoboda to a two-year, entry-level contract today. The 23-year-old Svoboda led the Czech Republic’s Extraliga with 33 wins this season, helping HC Plzen record a league-leading 107 points during the regular season. Svoboda was originally drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the seventh round of the 2015 NHL Draft.

Nashville opens play in the Stanley Cup Western Conference semifinals tomorrow night hosting the Winnipeg Jets at 7 pm in Bridgestone Arena.
