Two arrested on meth charges in Logan Co.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Department arrested two Auburn residents Thursday on several drug related charges, following a traffic stop on Proctor Mill Road.

According to a news release, Deputy Kyler Harvey conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle due to a traffic violation. Upon making contact, he reportedly smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, which was operated by 40-year old Amanda King of Auburn.  A search of the vehicle allegedly revealed a quantity of methamphetamine, marijuana and multiple items of drug paraphernalia.

She was arrested and charged with possession of meth, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, failure to wear seat belts and other traffic violations.

Her passenger, 37-year old Floyd Early Johnson Jr. of Auburn, was also arrested and charged with possession of meth, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
