Two arrested in Trigg County for cocaine trafficking

Two Trigg County residents were arrested for cocaine trafficking Monday night.

Trigg County Sheriff’s Deputy Jered Warner led the investigation that ended with execution of a search warrant, according to Sheriff Ray Burnam, who says police found crack cocaine and over $14,000 cash. There was also a juvenile in the residence.

Two suspects—24-year old Jasmine Wharton and 37-year old Antonio Wharton of Cadiz—were arrested for trafficking in cocaine, first-degree wanton endangerment, possession of drug paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of a minor.

The Pennyrile Area Narcotics Task Force assisted in the investigation.
