Hopkinsville is ranked 9th in this week’s Associated Press Class 4-A poll released Monday. Boyle County is first with Madisonville third and Logan County sixth.
Class 5-A has Covington Catholic first, defending champion South Warren is fourth, Bowling Green fifth and Greenwood 10th.
Class 3-A has a new number one team in Bell County with Trigg County 8th and Paducah Tilghman 9th.
Class 2-A also has a new team at the top in Somerset, Mayfield dips to third, Caldwell County is fifth, Murray is seventh with Todd Central 9th this week.
Class A finds Crittenden County seventh with Pikeville number one.
Henderson County is seventh in Class 6-A with McCracken County 11th and Trinity number one.
