Kentucky State Police have released additional details on an accident Thursday morning that killed a Cadiz man.
Investigators say 40-year old Andrew Francis of Cadiz had been westbound on New Hope Road just east of South Road at about 3:45 a.m. when his car exited the left shoulder of the roadway for unknown reasons.
The car struck a concrete embankment and fence, causing it to roll and Francis was ejected.
The Trigg County Coroner’s Office pronounced Francis dead at the scene and KSP says he was not wearing a seat belt.
The Trigg County Sheriff’s Department assisted in the investigation.
