Austin Peay kicker Logan Birchfield was named the Ohio Valley Conference Specialist of the Week Sunday. The senior from Elizabethton, TN had 10 of Austin Peay’s 16 points in Saturday’s loss to Central Arkansas.
Murray State junior wide receiver DaQuon Green was named the OVC Newcomer of the Week. The Tampa, FL native caught five passes for 101 yards and a touchdown in Saturday’s loss to Georgia.
