Hot Rods lose MWL quarterfinal opener to South Bend

The Bowling Green Hot Rods fell 2-1 to the South Bend Cubs in quarterfinal play of the Midwest League playoffs last night in South Bend. Game two of the series is tonight in Bowling Green.
