A woman was flown to a Nashville hospital Monday afternoon after she was bitten by a snake in Hopkinsville.
Personnel from the Hopkinsville Fire Department main station responded to West 15th Street for a snake bite and found the woman in respiratory distress, according to Captain Michael Pendleton, who says she was transported by EMS to the Air Evac helipad and flown from there to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
He says it’s unknown what type of snake bit the victim.
