A Hopkinsville man was arrested Sunday on a warrant that alleges he recently sold a stolen iPhone.
It says that on July 17, 29-year old Michael Allen of Hopkinsville sold a stolen Apple iPHone 7 valued at $600 at the Kroger ecoATM for $30. The ecoATM machine allows people to sell their old electronic devices for instant cash.
Police say Allen used his driver’s license to complete the transaction and there is video surveillance from the store showing Allen selling the phone.
He is charged with felony receiving stolen property.
