A single-vehicle accident Sunday morning in Madisonville injured the driver.
Police say 27-year old Jacob Potenza of Madisonville had been eastbound on West Center Street at about 8:45 a.m. when left the roadway for unknown reasons, struck a stop sign at Buckingham Street, traveled through a yard and came to rest after striking bushes in front of a home.
Potenza was taken by ambulance to Baptist Health Hospital in Madisonville for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
