ComCare EMS crews from Todd, Caldwell, Crittenden, Logan and Ohio counties are near the coast helping residents in the potential impact zone of Hurricane Dorian.
Andy Bass is the Todd County supervisor and said they were in Georgia Saturday morning, heading into Florida.
Bass has deployed to several hurricane zones in recent years and says they will assist those communities any way they can, including taking the types of calls they respond to at home.
A total of 10 personnel and five ambulances are on the deployment for Dorian and it’s unknown how long they will remain in the area.
