A Princeton man has been charged with wanton endangerment after a child in his care was allegedly found walking in the street unsupervised.
According to a news release from the Princeton Police Department, officers responded to the area of West Locust and North Cave Street Wednesday around 8:56 a.m. for reports of a two-year old child walking alone. A passerby found the child and called police.
The father of the child, 32-year old Johnathan Patterson, was located at a North Cave Street residence, asleep. He was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment.
