Hoppers name Gary Vaught as new coach for 2020 season

The Hoptown Hoppers held a news conference today announcing Gary Vaught, the former long-time coach at the University of Indianapolis who retired following the 2018 season, will take over the program. Vaught won 808 games at Indianapolis and 1,280 in his college coaching career. Vaught says he attended a Hoppers playoff game and several things impressed him:

The Hoppers also presented the Museums of Historic Hopkinsville-Christian County a check for $2,500 in their remodeling efforts. The funds were proceeds from the “Shirt off the Back” auction.
