2019 College Football season begins tonight

Several area schools begin their 2019 season this evening.

Western Kentucky has a new head coach in Tyson Helton as the Hilltoppers welcome Central Arkansas to Houchens-LT Smith Stadium:

Kickoff is at 6:30, with pregame coverage at 5:30 on News Radio 95.3 FM/1230 AM WHOP.

In the OVC: Murray State begins its 95th season of football hosting the University of Pikeville. Here’s Coach Mitch Stewart:

Austin Peay opens the Mark Hudspeth era this evening as the Governors host North Carolina Central:

Kickoff at Fortera Stadium takes place at 7 pm.

Four ranked teams in action this evening. Number-one and defending national champ Clemson hosts Georgia Tech, 11th-ranked Texas A&M entertains Texas State, number-15 Utah visits BYU and 17th-ranked UCF is at home against Florida A&M.
