A Fort Campbell soldier was injured in a motorcycle accident Sunday afternoon in Pembroke.
Christian County Sheriff’s Sgt. Adam Vanderkolk investigated and determined 22-year old Joseph Short of Fort Campbell had been southbound at a very low rate of speed and was crossing the railroad tracks on South Main Street when his tire bounced between the tracks and his bike overturned onto its side.
Short was wearing a helmet and struck his shoulder and head on the ground. He had some difficulty remembering the accident, according to Vanderkolk, who says EMS transported Short to Blanchfield Army Community Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
