Tennessee State quarterback Demry Croft has been indicted on six counts of rape and two counts of sexual battery. The indictment says Croft engaged in unlawful sexual conduct without consent last December in Nashville. All eight counts involve one woman. Croft has a court appearance September 4th. The 22-year-old started the final six games for Minnesota in 2017 before transferring to Tennessee State. He played four games last year before suffering a season-ending injury. The Tennessean reports Croft did not play in TSU’s second scrimmage last Saturday and is no longer on the roster as of today.
