The Bowling Green Daily News reports two members of WKU’s team were dismissed today. Redshirt running back Quinton Baker and redshirt offensive lineman Preston Mixon were dismissed for their alleged connection in two incidents early Saturday morning currently being investigated by Bowling Green police.
Reports indicate the two were reportedly involved in reports of shots being fired around 1 am at the Columns Apartments and around 2:45 at the corner of 12th and Center streets. No arrests have been made and no other information on the incidents is known at this time. Baker and Mixon were absent from workouts Sunday with the school confirming the dismissals today.
