The little green men, and fans of the history and the festival, returned to Kelly Friday as the Kelly Little Green Men Festival got underway.
The festival continues into Saturday with music, food and fun and organizer Frank Brown says the event only continues to grow each year—this year is was home to a full carnival, on top of the many vendors and aliens roaming the booths.
He says the weekend is all about family fun and they already had a great turnout Friday afternoon as they celebrate the recent installment of the large, new playground at Kelley Station Park.
Brown encouraged everyone to come out Saturday as the weather is supposed to be beautiful for the free to attend festival that keeps growing and keeps bringing back people into the community. Money raised by the event goes towards maintaining and improve the park.
