The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Department has arrested the mother of two small children who were assaulted at the Quail Run Apartments in relation to the August 8 incident.
According to a news release, deputies have charged 21-year old Hannah Harrell of Earlington with two counts of second-degree child abuse, following investigation into the reported assault. As previously reported, investigation determined that the two young children—who had been taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries—had been in the care of 25-year old Caleb Cobb of Partridge Drive when the assault took place.
Cobb was arrested the following morning following a foot pursuit in White Plains. No other information about the assault has been released and no booking photo of Harrell was immediately available.
