A Christian County Grand Jury indictment for second-degree forgery was returned Friday against Hopkinsville City Councilmember Kimberly McCarley.
It alleges that on June 22, 2016, McCarley forged the name of a woman on a bank document without that woman’s permission. The incident was investigated by Kentucky State Police and a bench warrant with a $5,000 cash bail was issued for McCarley’s arrest.
McCarley represents Ward 2 and has served on Hopkinsville City Council since 2009.
