Skateboarders have new and improved ramps to utilize at the Elkton-Todd County Park after the equipment was installed this week.
Elkton City Clerk Laura Brock says the upgrade is part of the city’s Land and Water Conservation Fund Grant project through the National Park Service. She says the grant paid for half of the project and the other half was paid for with local park funds.
The old ramps were deteriorated and Brock says the new ones are made of metal and concrete.
