Man arrested for burglary after being caught with stolen weed eater

Hopkinsville police arrested a suspect for burglary Monday night after he was allegedly caught by the homeowner with a stolen item.

The victim arrived at his residence in the 3700 block of Lafayette Road about 7:20 p.m. and saw 53-year old Steven Bosley of Hopkinsville holding his weed eater and standing near a fence.

Bosley reportedly dropped the weed eater when he saw the victim.

Investigation led to him being arrested for second-degree burglary, with the arrest citation stating Bosley entered the victim’s carport and removed the item.
