Murray State basketball wraps up Bahamas tour Sunday

Murray State completed its three game Bahamas tour with a 110-78 win over the Commonwealth Bank Giants Sunday afternoon. Tevin Brown had 19 of his 25 points in the first half as the Racers had seven players score in double figures. Former Madisonville standout Jaiveon Eaves scored 14 points, while KJ Williams had 13, Chico Carter and Anthony Smith scored 12 each and DaQuan Smith added 11.

Carter also had 10 assists and just missed a triple double with eight rebounds.

Racers coach Matt McMahon was thrilled with the trip, stating it had a great learning experience and the chemistry and comradery that has been built within the team has been a success. The team will return to Murray on Tuesday.
