Woman injured after two deer run into side of car

A local woman was injured Thursday night after two deer ran into the side of her vehicle on Country Club Lane.

It happened about 8:15 p.m. near the intersection with North Sunset Circle, according to the collision report from Hopkinsville Police Officer Daniel Bruce, which says 38-year old Amanda Eads of Hopkinsville was eastbound when two deer ran across the roadway and struck the side of her car.

Both doors on the driver’s side were damaged in the collision, according to the report.

Eads complained of neck and head pain and was taken by EMS to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.
