Crew to repave KY 115 near I-24 interchange at night beginning Monday

Long-anticipated paving work will begin Monday night on KY 115 near Oak Grove.

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans night paving along KY 115, also known as Pembroke-Oak Grove Road, immediately south of the I-24 interchange.

The project is along KY 115 near Walter Garrett Lane and the Pilot Travel Center.

Cabinet Spokesperson Keith Todd says motorists should be prepared to encounter work zone restrictions along this section of KY 115 nightly between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m.

Paving in this work zone is being scheduled at night to help minimize traffic snarls. However, with heavy truck traffic around the I-24 interchange, some congestion is likely while the paving crew is on site.

This work zone will be active during overnight hours anytime weather allows through Saturday.
