MLB: Fines and suspensions coming from Reds-Pirates brawl

Major League Baseball is expected to issue suspensions for those involved in Tuesday’s ugly brawl between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Cincinnati Reds. Pittsburgh manager Clint Hurdle told reporters the league was still reviewing video of the incident, which began when Cincinnati pitcher Amir Garrett left the mound to charge the Pittsburgh dugout and throw several punches during the ninth inning of the Reds’ 11-4 loss.

Cincinnati manager David Bell, who had been ejected earlier in the contest, could face a lengthy suspension for running onto the field and confronting Hurdle during the fracas.
