Kentucky State Police have released details on an incident from Saturday night in Marion, where a vehicle crashed into a home and killed a resident.
It happened a few minutes after 7 p.m. and a news release says 43-year old Christopher Hill of Marion failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Guess Road and Old Shady Grove Road and went through the yard and into the front of a home at 506 Shady Grove.
Police say 72-year old Mary Bass was sitting in a chair resting in the living room and was pinned underneath Hill’s pickup. She was pronounced dead at the scene by the Crittenden County coroner’s office.
Hill refused a trip to the hospital for possible injuries.
KSP says investigation into the incident is ongoing.
