Two pedestrians were struck by vehicles in separate incidents Friday night and Saturday morning.
The first happened about 8:15 p.m. when a 28-year old male was struck by a pickup operated by 38-year old Charles Suttle on Fort Campbell Boulevard, according to Clarksville police. The victim was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
Police say Suttle smelled of alcohol and was arrested for DUI following field sobriety tests.
The second incident happened about 2 a.m. when a 32-year old male walked onto Wilma Rudolph Boulevard near the 3000 block and directly into the path of a car driven by a 44-year old man.
The pedestrian was taken to Vanderbilt with multiple fractures and was in stable condition.
No charges were filed in connection with that incident.
